Theresa Casey converted her hall closet into a functional and luxurious kitchen. Her inspiration came from 1930s luxury ocean liners. The typical kitchen aboard such a vessel is usually laid out in a highly efficient style, with longitudinal units and overhead cabinets. This makes the best use of the usually limited space with the minimum required movement between appliances.
